Damüls-Mellau together with Faschina forms the largest ski area in the Bregenzerwald. The 8-seater gondola Gipfelbahn connects Mellau and Damüls, and it continues to Faschina via slopes and lifts. A total of 109 kilometers of groomed slopes of all difficulty levels await you.
From our apartment, you are about 20 minutes from the Mellaubahn in Mellau or the Uga-Express in Damüls. To get to Mellau, drive on the L200 down the valley, to Damüls via Au and the L193.
Damüls holds the title of the snowiest village in the world, averaging over nine meters of fresh snow per winter. In addition to a snow park, speed track, and parallel slalom, there is a natural toboggan run which is illuminated twice a week at night, and in Faschina night skiing is available.

By car it's about 20 minutes: on the L200 down the valley to the Mellaubahn or via Au up to Damüls to the Uga-Express. The Bregenzerwald ski bus also goes to Damüls and Mellau, and the 3TälerPass includes all lines of the Bregenzerwald regional bus.
Yes. The 8-seater gondola Gipfelbahn connects the two parts of the area, and Faschina is also connected via slopes and lifts.
There are day, multi-day, and season tickets for Damüls-Mellau and Faschina, as well as the 3TälerPass, which is also valid at Diedamskopf and in Warth-Schröcken. Ski passes are available online or at the ticket offices in Damüls, Mellau, and Faschina.
Yes. The indoor play park in Damüls is open daily from 9 to 17 and is free. The ski schools in Damüls and Faschina offer children's courses.
